Market research is used worldwide in almost every facet of decision making, be it for businesses, governments, charities, unions, legal or medical entities. The market research industry is now a $29 billion industry worldwide. In the last 10 years, there have been dynamic changes in the methodologies used in market research to poll consumers, businesses, legal and medical professionals.
McGuinness will explore many of the newest techniques and how they can be used as tools to help aid businesses in making more informed and less risky decisions.
About the Speaker
Prior to Issues & Answers, Mr. McGuinness has over 15 years of experience with two leading market research agencies as well as 15 years with a leading manufacturer. At Burlington Industries, Mr. McGuinness was Director of Corporate Marketing for the corporation, which included 24 consumer and industrial businesses. In addition to his duties in market research, he headed up the Economic and Advertising Departments and successfully co-developed a market research firm, which became a profit center for Burlington Industries. He served on the Conference Board’s Market Research Council and served as Marketing Director for the Crafted With Pride in U.S.A. Council
